- Can the toilet flush manually when the power is out?
Yes, the toilet is installed with a backup battery to remain functional during a power outage. - What electrical support is needed?
The power cord must be connected to a AC110-120V, 50/60Hz, 16A+, grounded GFI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) power socket. - Is it safe for kids?
The toilet comes with a Child setting, which can be used for added safety when children are in the home. When child function is on, all other functions will be disabled until settings are changed. - Can I install it myself?
Yes, the ACiQ Smart Toilet comes with the required components for home install. No electrical or plumbing expertise is needed. Included components are not intended for personal disassembly; please install as provided. Old fittings and hoses cannot be reused. - What water hookup is required?
The minimum required water pressure is 0.15MPa (flow of water is greater or equal to 20L or 5.3 gallons per minute). If water pressure is below this level, the unit may not function as intended. The distance from the wall to the center of the floor drain must be a minimum of 12″. - How do I choose between Standard and ADA height?
The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requires a toilet seat height of 17″ – 19″ to be compliant. This is taller than a standard toilet, making it easier for those with mobility issues. You may choose an ADA height toilet for accessibility needs or purely out of preference.

“Unit has peformed well through last years heat and winter , did get into 20s for a while. I have never even turned the AUX Heat breaker on.
Setup of Unit was completed by HVAC Tech, I did the removal of old Condenser and Air Handler. Place the new units in position and Tech came for completion and testing.
All went quite easy and did not have to add any Freon, unit came with plenty. Tech Support was always helpful. returned calls quickly if they are busy.”
